We finish new swimming pools and spas as well as refinish and repair existing ones for homeowners throughout Northern California. About half of our business involves working directly with owners of existing pools to identify and deliver improvements best suited to their budgets and needs. This can range from patching cracks to repairing and replastering. We also coordinate with landscape architects and subcontractors to integrate pool surfaces with backyard remodels. J&F specializes in installing the the most popular surfaces in swimming pool construction—plaster, quartz and pebble (see Products for samples). Quartz and pebble aggregates were developed to be improvements on plaster, whose pourousness makes it more susceptible to staining and bacteria growth. Quartz and pebble are also more durable, albeit more expensive, than plaster. J&F offers free consultations and estimates to determine the best solution to every customer’s needs.
